Katie MacAllister has been teaching & choreographing for 15 years. She began dancing at age 3, came to Performance Plus when she was 9 years old....and still hasn't left! She was honored when Patty asked her to continue the PPD legacy as Owner & Artistic Director in 2024.

As a student at Performance Plus she won many scholarships, high score & overall awards both locally and nationally. Under Patty Bellucco's mentorship, Katie developed a love for dance & the arts, and joined the Performance Plus faculty in 2010. Her training also includes numerous conventions across the country, the prestigious Broadway Theatre Project with Ann Reinking & Desmond Richardson, Broadway Dance Centre, and more.

Katie's work has won many overall high score & choreography awards, both locally and nationally. She has choreographed for studios, shows & college dance teams. She specializes in Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary & Musical Theatre.

Katie was a member of the Greece Athena Show Choir & Greece Dance Team during high school - winning National Championships with both groups. She went on to major in dance at The University at Buffalo and continued her studies at SUNY Brockport, graduating with a degree in Broadcast Communications.

 
Before becoming Artistic Director in 2024, Katie worked for over 10 years in the Marketing industry at agencies and businesses across the Rochester area. Katie lives in Greece with her husband, Scott & their two boys, Jackson & Jordan.
