Founder of Performance Plus Dance Productions Inc., Patty has been teaching the art of dance for over 35 years. She began dancing at the age of 10 under the direction of Marilyn Schneider. A love and passion for dance grew from her earlier years of training with Marilyn. After High School. she studied and performed with Miss Bev's Dance Studio in Niagara Falls. Her other dance training includes David De Marie, Matthew Clark, Barb Denny, Broadway Dance Center, Steps in NYC & numerous conventions throughout the U.S. and Canada. Frank Hatchett from NYC was a personal inspiration and mentor to Patty with his annual visits to the studio.
Patty has choreographed many high school musicals, shows and countless dance routines for recitals and competitions. She teaches various styles of dance arts including contemporary, lyrical, jazz and tap. Staying current with the newest teaching styles and techniques, Patty brings professional dancers, choreographers and performers to Performance Plus. Guests artists are able to share their talents with PPD choreographers and students in a nurturing environment.
Watching dancers grow artistically and develop intro responsible young adults has been a joy throughout Patty's career. Many of her graduates have gone on to perform on Broadway, in Off-Broadway shows, in Dance Companies, on College Dance Teams and as Dance Instructors.
The friendship & respect for her teachers and staff at the studio is extremely important to Patty. An amazing staff has allowed Performance Plus to grow into an extended family for all.
Patty has been married for 30 years to her wonderful husband, Mark. They have three sons: Mark, Mike & Matt.
