2025-2026 Dress Code
Our dress code was created for your dancer's safety & to be sure they get the most out of their class time. Please be sure to have the appropriate attire & shoes for each class. Recreational Classes
Ages 2-5
Girls: Any type of leotard or dancewear with tights, leggings or fitted dance shorts. Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail or bun. Please be sure to have the correct shoes required for class!
Boys: Any comfortable athletic-type apparel is acceptable. Jeans are not permitted.
Recreational Classes
Ages 6 & up
Girls Ballet: Leotard of any color and style with pink, tan, or black tights. Dancers may wear a solid color, fitted tank top or t-shirt over the leotard. Hair must be pulled back into a neat & tight bun. Please be sure to have the correct shoes required for class!​
All Other Classes: Leotard of any color or fitted crop top with tights, fitted dance shorts, or leggings. Hair must be pulled back into a neat & tight ponytail or bun. Please be sure to have the correct shoes required for class! Jeans are not permitted.​
Boys: Any comfortable athletic apparel is acceptable. Jeans are not permitted.
Competition Teams
Girls Ballet: Leotard of any color or style with pink tights. Hair must be pulled back into a neat & tight bun. Please note that ballet shoes are required for participation; socks are not permitted as a replacement. If a dancer does not have the appropriate attire for ballet, they will not receive credit for the class.
​**NEW THIS YEAR:
Choreography Group Classes: All black dancewear. Can consist of black leotards with or without tights, black fitted shorts, black leggings, black crop tops, etc.​​ Hair must be pulled back into a neat & tight bun. For hip-hop, please be sure to wear a loose t-shirt or sweatpants over your leotard.​
Boys: Fitted or semi-fitted athletic apparel is acceptable for all classes. All-black is required for choreography classes.
Shoes
Shoes can be purchased locally at Dancewear Express on Elmgrove Rd. or online (see links below).
Because dance shoe sizes are not always the same as street shoe sizes, we recommend visiting Dancewear Express if you need a proper fitting.
